Deputy Minister Jonah Mozeson brings senior leadership experience across public administration, law, strategic planning, and communications. He was appointed Deputy Minister of Municipal Affairs following his tenure as Managing Director of the department of Communications and Public Engagement, where he led government-wide communications, strategic planning, and public engagement. He previously served as Executive Director of Communications and Planning in the Office of the Premier, served as Chief of Staff to multiple Ministers, and worked within several federal Cabinet portfolios. Prior to joining the Government of Alberta, Jonah practiced corporate law. He is a member of both the Law Society of Alberta and the Law Society of Manitoba.

Jonah holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alberta and a Juris Doctor from the University of Manitoba.
